SHIPMENT TO CONGO

GPC, who operates in the most uncomfortable and remote areas, has carried out a shipment of 20×10′ dry loaded on 7×40′ FR from Italy to Congo.
The transport has been carefully followed from beginning to end by GPC, from the purchase of atypical containers, made in accordance to the regulations for the handling of these units on offshore platform.
Containers production took place in China where GPC collected them to afterwards transport them to Italy and fill out.
The modes of transport required the availability of 40′ FR for regular stowage on board so GPC done it at Genoa port to finally board them to final destinations.

THE NEW EU DUTIES TO THE UNITED STATES

On 20 June 2018 the European Commission adopted the implementing regulation n. 2018/886, in response to US customs duties which will come into force on Friday 22 June.
The new EU duties apply not only to steel and aluminum imports from the US, but also to agricultural products and many other products.
The products and level of duties applicable to them are contained in the implementing regulation 2018/886 of 20 June 2018, published in the OJEU of 21 June 2018 (attached).

CARGO TRACKING NOTE IN GHANA

Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) is introducing and implementing the concept of Cargo Tracking Note (CTN): by adopting the CTN System, Ghana’s Customs is attempting to modernize its operations in order to facilitate trades.

As a consequence of that, importers in Ghana will have to ensure that their respective shippers and forwarders at port of origin will issue the CTN number, paying attention on the n.7 calendar days that are required to complete the process.

CTN will be compulsory for bill of ladings and cargo manifests related to shipments towards Ghana, as from 01/07/2018, BL date.

RAILWAY FREIGHT TRANSPORT ITALY-CHINA – NEW SILK ROAD

GPC makes available rail freight transport Italy-China for its customers. The project for the construction of a railway network linking Italy to China has recently developed and today the railway network reaches 60 countries, crossing Europe, Central Asia, Mongolia and Russia and move about 300,000 TEUs a year.
This mode of transport is cheaper than an airway and faster than a seaway, even if today it concerns mainly 40 ‘feet containers (standard and HC).

THE ITALIAN TRADITION OF ICE CREAM FLIES TO MAURITIUS

GPC, specialized in refrigerated goods transport, has carried out ice cream shipments from Italy to Mauritius. The whole shipments, in the least details, has been taken care of to be compliance of the cold chain.
Integrated logistics services were performed with packaging, boxing and processing aimed at preserving the product, managing the cold chain in the appropriate and required way to keep the quality of the product unchanged.
The goods traveled on flights at a frozen  temperature -18°, focus in particular on the transshipment and storage moments.

CRANE SHIPMENTS TO ECUADOR CONTINUE IN COLLABORATION WITH OUR ECUADORIAN AGENT

After the first shipments, GPC specializes in abnormal transports, has planning pick-up of another crane from Crespellano to Livorno.
GPC has took care of abnormal transport ,as well as transit permits, customs clearance and boarding.

AMENDMENTS TO THE RULES ON THE ADVANCE PRESENTATION OF THE MANIFESTO IN CHINA

The Chinese customs administration (GACC) issued the order No. 56/2017 (attached in the English version) containing some revisions to the Decree No. 172, concerning the early presentation of the posters, issued in 2009, still being tested in the June 2014 and subsequently entered into force.

The purpose of the amendments is to standardize procedures and formats, as well as to improve the prevention of risks related to the import and export of goods in China.

According to the order, the new rules come into force from next June 1 and provide for the electronic transmission of data, strictly complying with the decree (http://english.customs.gov.cn/Statics/2bb17644-55f2-4c6b-a296-5ad18cd3f7d6.html), related to the incoming and outgoing transports (air and sea transport) and related posters. More accurate and complete data are requested to identify exactly “shipper” and ” consignee” “(Tax ID, P. VAT), the notify (contact numbers), as well as the goods themselves.
In the case of natural persons, the passport number is required.
For companies registered with Chinese Customs, the USCI (Unified Social Credit Code) code must be provided.

Firstly of all, for Import/Inbound into/via China mainland, LCL Service, at moment the 24 hours advance filing notice only release at Shanghai Customs authority, checking with other China offices, no relative information for LCL service.

·Currently, Customs authority made meeting with LCL warehouse/manifest responsible party, discussing the implement 24 hours advance filing for LCL service.
· Details still under discussing, but in principle, the Mandatory data for LCL filing  should be same as that under FCL one

Regarding to the time switcher apply these LCL mandatory data or EDI at Customs, still under checking as the process and possibility details not fixed yet. Carrier line need fix their FCL one at China Customs, then next do LCL data.

EXCEPTIONAL CRANE AND COUNTERWEIGHTS TRANSPORT DESTINATION ECUADOR

GPC specialized in abnormal transports, has planning the pick-up, of two cranes and two counterweights (containerized in 1×20 ‘flat racks) from Crespellano (BO) to the port of Livorno
GPC also took care of the customs clearance and boarding.
The shipping, part of a door to door delivery, was carried out in collaboration with our own Ecuadorian agent.

Flag tax is applicable to all shipments arrive Iran by non-Iranian flag vessels its amount is now USD 155/265 ; 20’/40’ as per desertion of Ministry of road and transportation.
