NEW TURKEY-EUROPE TRAIN CONNECTION NETWORK

The Swiss intermodal operator Hupac has activated new rail connections between Turkey and the ports and the intermodal centers of Western Europe which foresee two rotations per week. The services connect the Halkali Terminal in Istanbul with the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam and with the river ports of Duisburg and Ludwigshaven through the Vienna Wiencont terminal in Vienna, from which also provide connections to Budapest. The network is completed by linkss from Ludwigshafen to Schkopau and Schwarzheide, in Germany, and to Busto Arsizio (Milan), in Italy.
